This afternoon Rescue 5 was dispatched to 934 and Clear Springs Rd in the 6-02 box "Bellgrove" for an accident with injuries involving a motorcycle. The Rescue crew preformed basic vehicle operations and assisted with EMS care of a patient.

Late this morning box 9-03 was struck for a car fire in the lot of the Lebanon Valley Mall. R5 arrived after E9 and found the fire to be out. R5 staged and was released shortly after arriving.

Today crews took Utility 5 and the fire prevention trailer to the annual Lebanon Convention. Despite some rain Crews had a great time. Company 5 took 1st place in fire prevention category. Thank you to Schafferstown Fire Company for hosting this years events.

This afternoon Lt Borrell and Firefighter Shifflett were summoned next door to the firehouse to remove a baby bird for the business. The extrication went well and the bird was returned to the wild.
