Crash Behind The Firehouse

While crews were out on horseshoe pike. County called and advised of a crash with possible injuries and spill control behind the firehouse. Rescue 5 broke loose and responded. Rescue 5 arrived to find a two vehicle MVA fluids down and EMS already with the patient. Crews preformed basic vehicle ops and cleared. Co 5 was out for about an hour.

Horseshoe Pike Spill Control

Around 11:00hrs Box 5-03 was struck for spill control from an MVA. Rescue 5 arrived and found a pickup truck hauling fertilizer. The spill was determined not to be hazardous and crews washed down the roadway.

S. Annville MVA

This afternoon local box 5-02 was struck for Mount Pleasant Rd b/w Horseshoe Pike and Louser Rd for a vehicle into a pole. Deputy 5 "Luke" arrived to find a single vehicle that sheered off a pole. The driver was self extricated and not injured. Crew preformed basic vehicle operations and cleared the scene. Co 5 was out for about 45 minuts.

MVA Rollover Into A Pond

In the early hours of the morning Rescue 5 was dispatched on box 6-02 for an MVA vehicle into a pond. Crews arrived to find a single vehicle rolled over into the shallow end of a pond. The driver was self extricated and not injured. Crews preformed basic vehicle operations before returning. Co 5 was out for just over an hour.

MVA W/Fatality In N. Londonderry

This afternoon truck 5 was alerted to assist with an MVA w/ Injuries possible entrapment and a vehicle reported into a barn at Killinger Rd and Plaza Dr in the 1-07 box. Truck 5 arrived and assisted with checking the building and patient care.  Co 5 was out for about 45 minutes.

Co 2 Smoke In A House

This evening the tower/ladder was dispatched to 277 Coachman Ln in  Sta 2 "Campbelltown"  area for smoke in a house. Truck 5 arrived and assisted with the investigation.  Cause was found to be a problem with a dryer. Co 5 was out for about 25 minutes.

The members of the Annville fire dept wish to show our support for the County of Lebanon Haz-Mat team.Recent events from the county commissioners office may cause the closing and contracting out of the Haz-Mat team.Please show your support at the next Lebanon County commissioners meeting Thursday May 1st 2008 at the Lebanon County Court House.
