Crash On Horseshoe Pike

December 28thIn the late night hours box 5-02 was hit for an accident with injuries in the 1800 block of horseshoe pike. Crews arrived to find a single vehicle accident car into a rock. All subjects were out of the vehicle and with EMS upon fire dept arrival. Crews performed basic vehicle opps and assisted PSP with lighting. Co 5 was out for aprox one hour.

Another Crash On Spikers Hill

December 26th In the afternoon hours box 6-01 was struck for a vehicle accident with rollover and possible entrapment, at the base of spikers hill. This brought Engine and Rescue 5. Rescue 5 arrived to find a 1 vehicle accident with all subjects out. The box was quickly held to Co 6 "Bellgrove" units. Co. 5 was out for aporx 20 minutes.

Power Outage Brews CO Problems

December 19th Due to the power outage caused by the ice storm some residents have set up home generators for power. This has caused several CO problems. Box 6-02 was struck for 525 Palmyra-Bellgrove Rd. Rescue 5 arrived and found high readings of CO in the home. Crews secured the home generator and ventilated the structure. Rescue 5 was out for about 45 minutes.

Possible Structure Fire In First Due

December 18th While crews were about to respond to an MVA in Co 6 first due county advised of a reported kitchen fire at 1505 East Main St in the 5-01 box. The rescue was cleared of the minor MVA and crews responded to the fire. Crews arrived to find a stove fire with minor extension. The fire was quickly extinguished by first in crews. The box was cleared in aprox 30 minutes.

Ice Storm Hits First Due

December 16th Around 03:00hrs an ice storm started to reek havoc in Lebanon county. Crews spend most of the next 30 hours responding to storm calls from from Trees and wires AFA's MVA's and Investigations inside. Annville fire received 38 calls for service during the storm.

Clear Springs Rd Crash

December 7th During the afternoon hours box 6-01 was struck for Clear Springs Rd at the base of Spikers Hill. Crews arrived to find a single vehicle into the guard rail. Crews performed basic vehicle op's. Rescue 5 was out for about 30min.
