Late this afternoon Lebanon County set off the pagers to advise of an impending severe thunderstorm heading for our county. The violent storm came in starting at Campbelltown and working its way in a Southeasterly manner through the county before moving on to Lancaster County where it continued to wreak havoc. This event brought high winds & hail and even spawned a small tornado creating several dozen calls for area departments ranging from trees & wires down to rooves ripped off of houses. During this storm the Company took in several calls including several residences with rooves taken off of the houses. Special thanks to Progress Fire Department and all the area agencies which assisted us in the storm. Company 5 was out on the run for about 5 hours total. |
