In the afternoon hours 911 calls poured into the communications center reporting a large amount of smoke in the 100blk of west main st. Engine 5 responded and found a fully involved vehicle fire to the rear of 127 west main st. Crews worked to quickly extinguish the fire. Thanks to Co 7 for the tanker assist.
Station 5 and Lebanon City Fire assisted County Hazmat on a MVA on 322 in West Cornwall Township performing spill control operations
Today crews from Station #41, Sta #50, Sta #5 acting #50 and LBF E-21 on the hazmat assist responded to Interstate 78 mm 7 for a tractor trailer accident. Crews arrived on scene and coordinated clean up with DEP and a private contractor.
This afternoon Box 5-01 was struck for the report of wires down on a vehicle. Deputy 5 'M. Clements' arrived to find wire down an unoccupied vehicle. The rescue co blocked traffic and stood by until the utility companies arrived to remove the hazard.

In the early evening hours Co 5 was alerted to North Londonderry Twp to the Hometown family restaurant for a reported structure fire. The engine and rescue responded and assisted with fire suppression and salvage and overhaul. Crews were out for about 1.5hrs.
Tonight crews loaded up the engine to go to the mall to cheer on Jr. Firefighter Casey Breidigan while she competed for the 2007-2008 Lebanon County Fire Queen. Casey was crowned the Queen. Congratulations to casey and everyone else who competed.
Today crews loaded up for a day packed full of fire prevention. Crews spent much of the day going to the local daycare's and Churches. Thanks to everybody who helped make this years fire prevention week a success.
