Thirty-five feet long with a self-contained generator

Trailer cost was $48,000

Received a grant from FEMA that covered $45,650 of the cost

Construction time was about 11 months

Trailer has heat and A/C

The trailer includes: Telescoping lights, fireplace with simulated smoke, smoke to all three rooms, Heated door, hurricane and tornado simulator, Panasonic Surround Sound Speaker System, hazards found in kitchens, child bike safey kit, escape ladder, burning waste can and an exterior awning for shelter during demonstrations.

Demonstrated at the 2006 Harrisburg Fire Expo.

Planned uses include: parades, elementary schools, grade schools, child cares, Old Annville Days, National Niight Out, Birthday Parties, Church Bazaar, Christmas downtown, fire prevention week and others to be announced...
